By becoming a member of Arran Motocross Club I have agreed to abide by the following track rules:

General:

• All riders shall abide by ACU rulebook—copies available from www.acu.org.uk
• All members should act as good ambassadors to the club.
• All members should assist in running the club, for example take a turn grading the track, help with fundraising and promotion, help organise and run events, help run junior sessions, attend meetings etc.

• Bike / Quad transportation vehicles can be parked at the circuit parking area.
• Parking on the main road is STRICLY FORBIDDEN.

• No persons are allowed on the grounds of the track whilst consuming or under the influence of alcohol or banned drugs. This rule stands for riders, officials, assistants and spectators.

• Spectators enter the grounds of the Arran Motocross Track at their own risk.
• They must choose their best vantage point with their safety in mind.
• Avoidance of corners is advised due to stones thrown up from bikes and  potential for bikes running off the track.
• It is advised not to bring dogs or any other animals to the track as high noise levels can make them unpredictable and a danger to riders. Those that are must be suitably restrained.
• Riders should drive to and from the circuit in a controlled manner.

• Measures must be taken to prevent discharge of fuel, oil, cooling and brake fluids, etc. into the ground.
• Cleaning of motorcycles may only take place at the designated point. No detergents are permitted.

• Minimum protection will be:
• A helmet carrying an ACU gold or silver transfer, knee length boots, knee guards, gloves, goggles or visor of a non-splinterable type. (It is advisable to wear additional protection of motocross jersey, motocross jeans with padding at the hips and knees, elbow guards, body armour giving at least protection to the chest and shoulders, kidney belt.
• All protective gear to be in good condition and not modified in any way.
• Hand, face or body jewellery/piercings are not advised as they could prove hazardous.
• Bulky objects such as tools etc. should not be carried in pockets or on the person.

• Bikes or quads shall be examined and passed by scrutineer before going on the track.
• No Rider shall be permitted to ride unless signed on by the Clerk of Course.
• Bikes / Quads must be in good condition with working brakes
• Manufacturer’s mudguards and chainguards or parts of similar design must remain in place
• Bikes /Quads must have a maximum sound level of 98db. (measured as per internationally approved method stipulated in the ACU handbook)

Course Conduct:

• Anyone considered riding in an aggressive, unsafe, or uncontrolled manner by the clerk of the course shall be stopped. It will be at the discretion of the clerk of course, what action is required.
• Consideration should be given to less experienced riders.

Complaints:

• All complaints shall be logged and acted upon as seen fit by the Clerk of the Course.

• It is a condition of acceptance of using the track that Arran Motocross Club and it's members and office bearers shall not be responsible for any damage to a motorcycle or quad or their accessories whether by fire, accident or other causes, nor for the theft of a motorcycle or its accessories before, during and after the meeting.

• Before using the track, all riders must sign a disclaimer stating the following before use: I accept that partaking in motorsports at Arran Motocross Track could cause me severe injury or even death. I will in no way hold the officials, members or contractors of Arran Motocross Club or any member or official of the Scottish Auto Cycle Union responsible for any accident or injury incurred whilst partaking of motorsports at Arran Motocross Track.
